Pan earned his Ph.D. degree in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering from Wuhan University of Technology (WHUT, 2015-2020) and as Joint training doctoral student at Northwestern University (NU, 2018-2020). He began his postdoctoral research in the laboratory of Prof. Jiaxing Huang at NU in 2021 and continually working with Prof. Jiaxing Huang at Westlake University. His current research involves electrochemical energy storage systems and low dimensional materials processing.
